MHS Summer Recap! Mascoutah students enjoyed a 12 day trip to Peru visiting Lima, Cuzco, Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu, and Iquitos (the Amazon) this summer. Students were immersed in Peruvian culture and tried many new native foods . Visiting 2 schools, students played soccer and delivered school supplies. Mascoutah will be “adopting” the village of San Luis in the Amazon this school year. Students visited a number of Incan archeological sites, fished for piranha, made tiles, saw the Southern Cross constellation, a salt mine, a women’s weaving center, visited a rescue center, learned about stingless bees, climbed the 2nd largest canopy trail, and so much more! Students learned so much while making the most amazing memories! Thank you to Mrs. Kira Budde for all the planning and hard work she did to make this possible for our 34 students! #MHSTheHighSchoolOfChoice

One of our favorite MHS traditions—Senior Send-Off! Our Class of 2025 graduates took a walk down memory lane, visiting each of the elementary and middle school buildings across the district. This special event is more than just a celebration—it's a powerful moment of connection.
Our seniors had the chance to thank the incredible staff who supported them from their very first days in school, and younger students lined the halls to cheer on the graduates, inspired by the journey ahead of them. It was a full-circle experience filled with smiles, high-fives, and a whole lot of purple pride!
Once an Indian, Always an Indian!
