Notice of Preliminary Budget Access
At its Tuesday, July 20 meeting, the Mascoutah Community Unit School District Board of Education approved the Preliminary Fiscal Year 2022 (FY22) Budget. The preliminary budget is available for review Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm at the Administrative Support Center (421 Harnett Street, Mascoutah). The hearing for the final FY22 Budget will be Tuesday, September 15.

MMS Anti-Bullying Club hosted Kindness Week which was full of Kindness, Dress-up Days, and a food drive!
Students raised 884 items to be donated to the Mascoutah Food Pantry.

The USDA Summer Food Program is open to students this summer. Eligible low-income children will receive ~$375. Log in to Qmlativ, click on Food Service Applications, click the green plus, and complete. If your family is approved, you will receive state-provided prepaid cards.
When we found out our Read, Right, Run 5K was canceled again this year, we decided to have our own! MMS students and staff did an amazing job with running and cheering on our students to the finish line. #M19Pride

Before break, MMS 7th grade Science students had the opportunity to be medical providers and diagnose patients as part of the 7th grade Science curriculum. Students questioned their patients in order to diagnose patients and explain a treatment plan."
Congratulations to Morgan Curry, Mascoutah Middle School 7th grade math teacher for being named the Open Up Resources 6–8 Math Teacher of the Month for March.
