In 6th grade ELA, students are currently in the middle of their research unit geared towards helping others. To start the unit, they watched the documentary Look to the Sky created by Brett Culp. Mrs. Jarvis reached out to Mr. Culp in hopes that he could talk about his film and his impact on others, and he fortunately agreed! Today, they had a Q & A session with him over Google Meets. Mr. Culp graciously donated his fee, and the 6th grade students voted to donate the money to St. Louis Children's Oncology department. #M19Pride #19MMSPride
