Scott Elementary is celebrating National Paraprofessional Day today by giving a shout-out to our outstanding Instructional Aides, Individual Care Aides, and Supervisory Aides. These individuals are such an important part of our school, and we could not do what we do without them. On a daily basis, they provide invaluable support for our students and staff. Thank you to this wonderful group for everything they do to make SES a great place for our students! #19SESPride #19EveryStudent
As Scott Elementary kicks off the month of the military child, our staff wore yellow in support of our military-connected students and their families. We are truly grateful for our school community and the sacrifices they make everyday for our country. 💛#19SESPride #19EveryStudent

As Scott Elementary prepares to kick off Month of this Military Child in April, our campus is proudly displaying yellow ribbons on our trees and around our entrance.
In the military community, yellow ribbons symbolize support, sacrifice, and the hope for a safe return home. At SES, where every student is connected to military service, these ribbons are a reminder that we stand with our children and their families every day. Thank you to all of our families for the sacrifices you make for our country! #19SESPride #19EveryStudent

Today at SES, students who raised over $300 for the American Heart Association were treated to a VIP lunch with their PE teachers, Mr. Ballard and Mr. Barnes. We want to give a big "thank you!" to Speedi Check in Mascoutah for providing the sandwiches for our students! And we also want to give a big shout out to 1st Grade Student Shaylnn Schaefer, who raised over $1,000 for the American Heart Association. For being the top fundraiser at SES, Shaylnn was the "Principal for the Day" last Friday! Students loved having a new boss for the day! #19SESPride #19EveryStudent

Scott Elementary staff wore blue this morning to show our support for Cambree York, an 8th grade student at nearby Carriel Junior High in O’Fallon. Cambree is battling a serious illness and infection and just successfully completed a major surgery yesterday.
Cambree has a heart of gold and an amazing support system around her. SES and Mascoutah are with Cambree all the way! 💙

We had a great turnout at our Gifted Family Game Night! Over 160 gifted students and their families from MES, SES, and WES joined us at Wingate for an evening filled with fun, laughter, snacks, and plenty of brainpower! It was wonderful to see our students collaborating, problem-solving, and stretching their thinking skills alongside their families. Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make the night such a success! 💜 #19EveryStudent

Scott Elementary is incredibly fortunate to have one of the very best PTOs around! Each month, our PTO brings their Sunshine Cart through the halls of SES to recognize and celebrate our dedicated teachers and staff. This week, they went above and beyond by adding a Hot Cocoa Bar for everyone to enjoy.
In addition to all they do to support our students, we are truly grateful for the time and energy they invest in making SES such a wonderful place to be. Thank you, PTO, for all that you do! #19SESPride #19EveryStudent
