Transportation is also provided for athletic events, field trips, extra-curricular activities, and transportation to other school districts.

Important Notes

  • Bus Information will not be accurate until 7 days before the first day of school; information is subject to change at any time.

  • Special Education students' bus information is tracked outside of Student Transportation. Bus drivers will call parents/guardians with the bus information before the start of the year.

  • Pre-K students may or may not be tracked in Student Transportation. Either way, the bus driver will call the parent/guardian with the bus information before the first day of school.

Traversa Ride 360 (also known as My Ride K-12)

Mascoutah Community Unit School District’s Transportation Department is partnering with the RIDE 360 (My Ride K-12) program to streamline computerized bus routing and parent communications. The Student Transportation software improves operational efficiency, lowers transportation costs, and improves student safety. Bus routes are easily created to best meet the needs of students and families, and the software provides numerous communication tools. Be sure to use the student ID number (access Skyward if you don’t know it) when setting up the account for your child. Please note that a student can be linked to only one account at a time. When a parent or guardian is linked to a student, then that person can share an invitation to anyone to view the student’s bus information.

The dynamic RIDE 360 (My Ride K-12) website and cell phone app allow parents to access their child’s school bus number, drop off and pick up locations, and times confidentially. Student Transportation also provides the Transportation Department the ability to alert parents about weather delays, school cancelations, and if the school bus is running late. Download the app and website guidebooks below to learn how to begin using this new software.
