Today isn't just the last day of the school year—it is also School Crossing Guard Appreciation Day in Illinois!
Rain, shine, or winter snow, these dedicated individuals have been out there every single day of this school year with a smile on their faces and their stop signs held high. They didn’t just keep our students safe at busy intersections; they provided our families with incredible peace of mind and started our students' mornings off right, from day one all the way to the final bell today.
